Village of Warner Special Council Meeting Briefs April 2020
Council approved the deferral of interest payments on utility bills for the months of March, April & May of 2020 and they will revisit the issue again at the May 20th, 2020 council meeting
Council approved the cancellation of the April 15th, 2020 council meeting.
Council approved the forgiveness of rent to those businesses that had to close because of Covid-19 that are located within the municipal building until they can re-open to the public.
Council will discuss the deferral of interest on property tax payments at the May 20th, 2020 council meeting.
Due to Covid-19, council has decided to not hold any public meetings until the provincial state of local health emergency is over. Regularly scheduled council meetings are still opened to the public with social distancing measures strictly enforced.
Due to Covid-19, cardboard recycling and all recycling done at the recycling trailer will seize as of Monday April 20th, 2020. All recycling material can be put into your garbage container until the state of local health emergency is lifted. We are doing this in an effort to reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19.
